At Naguisa, Seville has always held a special place in our hearts, and that love is only amplified by people like Lorena and Manuel and their store Isadora. Since 2006, Lorena has been saturating the store with her passionate spirit and commitment to quality and careful craftmanship, transforming the space into a true celebration of design.
In addition to her skill in selecting clothing and accessories from brands around the world, Lorena also has an excellent eye for art. At Isadora, you can find colorful and captivating prints from local artists, each with its own story and charm. Today, Lorena opens the doors of Isadora to tell us more about her fabulous project.

Who are Manuel and Lorena? How would you define yourselves?
Manuel and Lorena, we are the business and life partners behind Isadora. Manuel hails from a sector that is leagues away from the world of fashion, but always had a corporate vision, though he is also responsible for the duo’s public relations. As for myself, Lorena, I was born and raised in Biscay. I love being surrounded by beauty and order. I’m eclectic; I like contrasts, color, and prints, but I’m also fascinated by classic styles, simple, straight lines, and neutral tones.
When did you open Isadora? Could you briefly tell us the story of your store? What inspired you to take the leap and open your own business?
We opened Isadora in 2006. I arrived in Seville after studying fashion design at IED in Madrid and my idea was to open a store with brands and accessories that you couldn’t find here. At the time there were so few design stores, so it felt like we could bring something new and fresh to the city.
A moment you will always remember.
When we moved to our new location 4 years ago, the change was terrifying because we had been in the other space for 13 years. But looking back now, it was the best thing we could have done, this space defines us so much better and the welcome was amazing.
What do you think our philosophy brings to Isadora? Or to your customers?
Naguisa philosophy perfectly matches our own: offering these kinds of products is the best way to sell something that we love and that we identify with. Naguisa is quality in terms of materials and craftmanship, it is handmade locally, and features exceptional designs, everything we want for our customers and we know that is how they perceive the brand. It’s a brand that is easy to fall in love with.
What is it like to work with the Naguisa team? What makes us different?
The Naguisa team is a group of warm, friendly, and helpful women. For us, the interaction with the people behind a brand is what makes a brand really stand out. There is no point in featuring a fantastic product if we can't communicate with the people behind it.
Of all our designs to date, which were your favorites?
It’s hard to settle on just one style so I’m going to choose two, Lava for the summer and Monzón for the winter.
