NAGUISA + IVORI: HOW TO WEAR YOUR CAGED SANDALS

MODEL: IMA ROJO

ONE OF IMA'S STYLES MADE BY CAROLA IN IVORI

Cage-style sandals are one of Naguisa’s most iconic silhouettes. Our tried and true sandals and espadrilles featuring this design return every spring-summer season. Thalis, Manto, Bemol... This time around, we’ve joined forces with IVORI to feature two of our latest designs and offer suggestions on how to style them: OLILE and IMA.

MODEL: OLILE BLUE

Olile is a split suede espadrille from last season that is newly available in this collection in mauve and sky blue. Carola from IVORI suggests pairing them with a total look featuring the same shade of blue. The perfect match!

NAGUISA ESPADRILLES OLILE BLUE

Another idea is to play around with lightweight materials: if cage-style sandals = summer and linen = summer, then cage-style sandals + linen = guaranteed success.

We like the look of a pair of Olile paired with a dress or skirt, creating a dressed up appearance without relinquishing comfort.

SUSE DRESS BEIGE, NAGUISA LIFE

IVORI'S PETRA DRESS

Our Naguisa Life pieces are perfect in this case, such as the Suse dress and Lotte jumpsuit, or the Petra dress from IVORI.

WOVEN SANDALS IMA RED

Our IMA style, a newcomer to the collection, is a braided sandal in a bold and brazen red. A heeled sandal, one may think Ima is only fit for special occasions, but how could anyone resist showing off such a beautiful, and comfortable, shoe on a daily basis? Pair Ima with wide-leg pants and an overshirt or a lightweight knit jacket.

Or you can debut your Imas right now by pairing them with a dress worn over a T-shirt to play down the dress/heel combination. When it comes to colors, red can have an overpowering energy, so try pairing it with neutral tones to show off the shoes, providing more options for mixing and matching with your wardrobe basics.
