RESPECT FOR TRADITIONS

Right from the start, we decided that honesty would be our raison d’être. Our intention was to highlight the dedicated work that shoe artisans had been doing for years all across the Iberian peninsula. At the beginning, jute and espadrille handicrafts were our main focus, but as we were moving forward, we discovered other techniques that we definitely wanted to showcase.

Each shoe can be understood as a whole consisting of smaller parts; each resulting from fascinating processes. From sole cutting to leather weaving, behind these meticulous handiworks stand generations of shoe artisans respectfully doing their job, and such labor deserves to be known and admired.
Walking around the factories in a quest for ideas for new collections and speaking with the women and men who explain and recommend us new methods is one of our favorite parts of the job. Their skillful hands and their knowledge often inspire our designs, providing them with details that stand out and make our creations your go-to shoes to wear both in summer and winter.
This season, we are launching a series of stories that showcase some of the processes that make our shoes come to life. You will find them real soon on this Magazine.
