Our partner in London for two years, Gerard not only acts as our agent in the UK and Ireland through Gil Agency, but is also our client under the Spice flagship store in Park London. Spice is not just any store: it is a reflection of his passion and exclusive dedication to footwear. Today, Gerard opens the door to Spice to tell us more about his project.

Today we introduce you to Carolina, the inspiring woman behind SAVED, a charming boutique located in an 18th-century historical monument, in the heart of Lugo di Romagna, Italy. Carolina defines herself as a curious woman, always in search of knowledge, with an eclectic personality and a positive and joyful spirit. Her love for work and her passion for connecting with people led her to embark on this exciting adventure.

At Naguisa, we have always had a special affection for Seville, a love that is amplified by people like Lorena and Manuel and their store, Isadora. Since 2006, Lorena has imbued Isadora with her passionate spirit and her commitment to quality and careful production, transforming it into a space for true celebration of design.

The Catalan poet Joan Margarit wrote in his verses that 'loving is a place', and this is what we feel every time we visit Menorca. The island is our second home. The place we chose a few years ago to open our first store is also a paradise for rest and enjoyment. A space surrounded by the sea, where we feel safe and where we love and let ourselves be loved by its people. Once again, we continue to introduce you to the wonderful women behind some of the stores where you can find Naguisa. Cristina and Mireia are the founders of Piedra, a women's footwear and accessories store located right in front of the lush Turó Parc. From their cozy shop, Mireia and Cristina select European brands that focus on local productions, that are led by women and that promote ethical production methods. Today, both of them open the doors of Piedra to us and tell us more about their fantastic project.

We always say that, for Nagusia, the Basque Country is special, and that is because it is home to people like Lorena Mendikute and her Muma store. Since Lorena opened the doors of Muma in the small town of Éibar in 2006, she has been faithful to her principles, betting on local brands with values ​​such as top-quality materials or local production. Today, Lorena opens the doors of Muma for us, a store that has trusted Naguisa since 2017, to tell us more about her wonderful project.

Looking back, I can remember that since I was little, I have always been very curious about the unusual and the distant. I remember looking through my father's heavy binoculars during summer nights. In the city, I could often see a few stars shining a little brighter on clear nights, but when the holidays came and we fled to the mountains, the dark sky would gift us with nights of many Perseids, several comets and some distant planets.

Our relationship with Ana began in 2018 when she opened her store La Modernista in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She embodies what it means to run a sustainable business, inspired by designs from ethical and timeless brands, letting her values, passion for the Mediterranean and tenacity be the ones to captain the ship. Ana was kind enough to let us into her store and share with us a little about her beginnings and the concerns that led her to open the doors of La Modernista.

Hat designer, mother, entrepreneur and culinary enthusiast, Bea Birdsong is many things, including the great woman behind the counter at Maxine, a beautiful shop in Lido Marina Village, Newport Beach. From her colorful store and with her magical looks, Bea takes us on a journey, through her Instagram account, to a dream world where every night there are parties full of celebrities and rock concerts. Just like your skin needs nourishment (and lots of water), your lips also need nutrients to stay healthy and beautiful. Their skin is thinner and, as it doesn't produce moisture, they need moisturizing agents to protect them and provide nutrients. UV rays from the sun and heat (as well as cold weather) can damage and dry them out.

This year, our bodies (and minds too) were asking us to surround ourselves with bright colours. Our reference folder was filled with splendour and saturation, while PEZ was taking shape.

Classics always endure. Some symbols of traditional culture have managed to become part of the fashion landscape. Whether for their comfort, versatility or their reminiscences, the SOC ribbon espadrille model has established itself as one of our best sellers.

Together with Carola Alexandre and her store Ivori, we have traced a history of joint learning, friendship and new goals. In 2012 Carola raised the shutters of her cozy store in the Barcelona neighborhood of Born. Among garments designed by her and others from local brands, our first collection of shoes appeared.

Visits to this city always seem too short. Even if we plan ahead for the millions of places we want to go, time always gets shorter and new discoveries multiply. Madrid is almost a universe within a universe. It may be full of monuments and full of history, but somehow, it continues to evolve with time. This city offers contemporaneity while preserving its classics.

Our devotion to craftsmanship leads us to visit the factories where Naguisa boots and ankle boots are made on numerous occasions. With the sad feeling that this beautiful artisan tradition could be lost, we equipped ourselves with our camera and collected processes and words from those who know the most about the trade. This weekend we travel to Brooklyn, New York to meet Mandy and her store Kordal Studio. In 2012, Mandy decided to launch her own company with a mission: to create quality, responsibly made garments that exemplify the possibilities of sustainable design. Kordal is much more than a brand or a store, they are collections designed and produced ethically through timeless garment design and using natural, organic and recycled textiles.

Visual designer and artist from Madrid, Silvia Fernández, also known as Silvia Ferpal, opens the doors of her studio in the La Latina neighbourhood. Her work and sensitivity invite us to break with the established boundaries of design and encourage us to think about its evolution. Silvia is the kind of person you want to sit down with and talk at length; she is the person we would call to share a horchata or to edit a guide to charming stationery stores.

Henar is the owner of 'Henar Polo', a shop located in the centre of Salamanca. From her shop, Henar transmits the values ​​of Naguisa to all her clients and walks with her characteristic style through the historic centre of the city, always wearing one of our models. Alejandra Perelló has a deep and unwavering connection with art, nature and Japanese culture. Concepts that have guided her throughout her life and career, working on a sustainable clothing and accessories brand whose main goal is to preserve and protect the oceans and the environment. “I think photography is a lovely way to talk to people about a moment in my life or about an emotion,” explains Alejandra.

Giulia Tibaldi, together with her partner Giordano Garosio, forms the creative duo @GiulieGiordi. Through their bucolic Instagram account they narrate their family life and their caravan trips through wonderful places.
