The creative process of La Payesa began long before the first sketch took shape. You've probably already noticed that once again, flat shoes are the undisputed trend for autumn. We're not alone in this observation; social media and fashion magazines are full of looks that present them as the new essential. Naguisa collaborated with Korean brand Ti:baeg in the presentation of its Please Save My Earth - Spring Summer 2019 collection, within the framework of Seoul Fashion Week.

After a lot of printed fabrics, Pantone codes and watercolors, we found Silvia Osella. This Italian woman and Naguisa had a relationship that was love at first sight and when we met her, we couldn't resist succumbing to her art either. From her studio in Milan and wearing her Aritjol, Silvia designs custom prints and patterns, directs fabric collections and helps brands strengthen their identity through consulting.

At Naguisa, we've always felt a deep connection with nature and with women who dare to explore the unknown. As we've foresaw in previous collections, our new AW24-25 collection, POLAR, is born from this passion for adventure, inspired by the light that emerges after months of darkness in the far reaches of the Arctic. For me, summer is about putting on my BEMOLs. Twelve summers ago, I was living in Madrid and half a year ago my friend Carola had opened a shop in Barcelona with a selection of local brands. One day, she showed me a pair of yellow espadrilles that caught my attention instantly. With a nostalgic air, reminding me of those rubber sandals that I had been so happy with in my childhood, those espadrilles were my gateway to the Naguisa universe.

This is not the first time that our path and María's have come together. In 2020, when we were all thinking about what we would do when the terrible lockdown was over, Naguisa and MON (María's brand) collaborated by giving away a small case with our shoes. Since then, we have followed each other on social media, exchanging messages and heart-shaped greetings.
