Together with her partner, she also shares the food and travel blog (The dining guide), where they explore and share their culinary experiences and adventures around the world.

DAVINIA, WITH HER SOC ROKTHO, AND CLAUDIA, WITH HER BAKEA PIEDRA, TALKING

How did you discover Naguisa and what was your first impression of the brand?

I discovered the brand when it collaborated with Maria Yelletisch, sometime around 2018, you released a number of styles and I bought my first pair of Naguisas, the Soc Rothko (the red and pink colorway).

What does Naguisa represent to you, beyond its shoes?

Naguisa is craftsmanship and nurturing and holding respect for the product. It is Mediterranean and spirit. I like that the styles don’t follow seasonal or current trends, they are shoes that will last a lifetime.

MODELS: BRUMA AND MARGA

Do you identify with the Naguisa brand values?

Yes, very much so! I like investing in brands that are respectful of production processes and continue making pieces in a traditional manner, and of course I like that they are locally made. My summer shoe wardrobe is full of brands like Naguisa, Castañer, Malababa, Hereu, etc. that I typically pair with baskets from Hereu, Heimat, Toino Abel, etc.

What inspires you to continue buying Naguisa shoes after so much time?

They are high-quality, timeless shoes, with styles that I identify with, they are comfortable, I could go on and on.

Do you have any special memories from when you were wearing your Naguisas?

I have a specific memory of the first post-pandemic summer, a lot of good times were had while wearing different Naguisa styles. I also remember a summer in Menorca, when I discovered your store there, what a special store that is!

DAVINIA WITH HER NEW HACANA CRUDO ESPADRILLES

What is your favorite style? What about from the new collection?

Of all my pairs, my “number one” is my first pair, the Soc Rothko, I’m particularly fond of that style. I think Soc, and all its variations, is such an iconic, summery Naguisa design. From the new collection, Hacana is very pretty, but I also like the styles from the embroidered collection.

Have you shared your love for Naguisa shoes with your friends and family?

Yes, I tend to be quite emphatic when I like a brand and its values. In my opinion, a pair of Naguisa shoes is like owning a small piece of art, I have to look after them to ensure I have them for a long time.
