Workshop Hiroshi

On 18^th and 19^th of February we opened our studio doors to show the new Spring-Summer “Taro” collection. And we did so in very good company: The Japanese artist Hiroshi Furumoto, who we first knew during a trip to Japan in 2014, gave us a visit, and together we organized some workshops on creating leather bags. Hiroshi uses an original technique called “Ko Soda” that consists in overlapping pieces of leather and riveting them together, in a random and innocent manner, without any need for previous knowledge in pattern or fashion design. The personality of each design makes the bags unique and unrepeatable. The same happens to the experience and memories that the participants and ourselves keep from these special days. Thanks everyone for coming!
