The pandemic gave us a unique opportunity to think about what kind of future we want. As we found ourselves face to face with a situation requiring immediate action, we became more aware of the many environmental crises lurking right around the corner.
Emerging from the restlessness, fear, helplessness, and anger that swept over us in 2020, we came together. We strengthened our communities and we supported purpose-driven brands and people. We channeled the negativity and transformed it into a flood of creative ideas.
SEMILLAS embodies this sense of ambition and courage. In the book, authors Cristina Camarena and Vanesa Freixa present various solutions for building a better tomorrow.
Journeying from individual to collective actions, SEMILLAS lays out a path for progress toward a more just, inclusive world for future generations. Indigenous cultures, forest schools, social justice, eco-feminism, and agroecology represent ways of sowing “little big seeds” that bring us closer to regeneration.
