MRLASPIUR x NAGUISA
Splash! Close your eyes and dive into Dizzy Summer. The sun is shining, a salty breeze blowing, sand sticking to your skin and everyone is wearing vibrant clothes and accessories that, paired with the ease and joy of time spent seaside, makes them radiate pure light.
This is what comes to mind whenever we think about the earring and belt collection that María R. Laspiur designed for PEZ SS22. Collection available from March 16th.
MRLASPIUR, formed by Maria R. Laspiur and Jaime A. Limousin, is a creative couple who set out on an adventure to turn María’s colorful art into wearable jewelry.
For this collaboration, Maria R. Laspiur has jumped from her usual imaginary botany, to delve into the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean, colorful designs inspired by the vibrant and fun marine world that PEZ symbolizes.
Just like any other Naguisa design, both the belt buckles FLOTADOR and CONCHA and earring models OSTRA, PEZ and FLOTADOR are handcrafted in the Maria workshop in the city of San Sebastián (Donostia), paying special attention to each and every detail of the creation process.
With both comfort and sustainability in mind, this capsule collection has been made using 3D printing with a bioplastic material called PLA. It ensures the pieces are lightweight, allowing them to shine as everyday accessories.
Organic PLA filaments are made from natural and renewable raw materials such as corn. This material is also biodegradable, is always sourced from sustainable crops, and does not release toxic emissions.
