HOW TO STORE YOUR SANDALS IN AUTUMN

MODELS: PINK SOC AND TILE RACÓ

Autumn is here and with it, the chill that heralds the end of the espadrille season. Every year we take longer to get down to work with changing our wardrobe, but with this changing climate that could happen tomorrow, here we are ahead of the game and give you a few tips for storing your Naguisa. Take note!

The leather used on espadrilles is usually soft so that they are comfortable to wear and do not rub against your feet when you walk. This same attribute means that when you store them, if you are not careful, the leather can take on a bad shape from one year to the next.

How to prevent them from getting out of shape?

Our recommendation is, whenever possible, to store them in a box to protect them from rubbing and knocking against other shoes. In addition, we always recommend taking some newspaper and making balls to fit inside the shoe. This will prevent them from flattening or becoming deformed.

Another trick to keep their shape intact is to fasten the buckle. A small gesture that will make your Naguisa look like new next spring.

Prevent espadrilles from accumulating moisture

When storing your Naguisa , they may still accumulate some moisture from your feet. To prevent this from ruining your shoes, add a cloth bag with a few grains of rice. This, in addition to helping to neutralize odors, will also absorb moisture from the shoe and/or the environment and prevent white spots from appearing from one year to the next.

Another little trick when storing your espadrilles is to add a sprig of lavender or some dried basil or sage leaves to the box.
