Summer isn't over for a few weeks, but the calendar is already marking the date for returning to routine. While the feeling of carefreeness fades, we still remember the cobbled streets, the explosion of colours at any market stall and the smell of the sea.

The end of summer, and with it the sporadic days between seasons, are divided between people who miss having an iced coffee and those who long to wear a jersey again. This duality, also present within the Naguisa team itself, led us to think about developing a timeless shoe, a basic sneaker that could be used during all seasons and anywhere. This is BAMBA, an all-terrain sports shoe.

That afternoon the sun was shining visibly. The task was pressing in every corner of our studio in San Just Desvern. The doorbell rang. Its energetic “hello!” powerfully caught my attention.

BOREAL draws us to the top of the mountain to find that elusive magical glow. An energetic connection between the earth, those moving solar particles and the occasional evening star that, like Georgia O'Keeffe, fills us with vigor and emotion and paints a picture of an energetic woman in constant discovery. A defender of the local, close to her roots and with the courage to walk unstoppable towards any horizon.

At Naguisa, we strive to create shoes that not only stand the test of time, but actually get better with it. That's why we advocate using top-quality natural materials such as 100% vegetable tanned leather, free of chromium and other toxic metals. Being a natural process, the final color of the leather may vary slightly in tone and darkness depending on the mix of materials used in the process. It's also nice to see the imperfections that are left exposed, such as organic marks acquired on the skin during the animal's life, such as scars or insect bites.

With this collection we escape from the city and the everyday. We enter Nature and make the crackling of the forest leaves our soundtrack. Because, although this dream only lasts for a season, we all need a little change of scenery to reconnect us with our roots, and “La Cabaña” gives us that opportunity. Will you join us?

Music, vermouth, raffles and lots and lots of shoes. On May 18th, at Naguisa we inaugurated the season of wearing espadrilles, braided shoes, tubular shoes and canvas shoes with a Market in our studio-workshop in Sant Just Desvern.

The 7. A sacred number that represents the faith to achieve our desires. SOC, SILENCIO, BEMOL and FUSA were born 7 years ago. They are the fruit of our desire, you are the result of our faith.

UGA is one of our most iconic braided leather models. The process of creating this type of shoe requires technique and patience.

Menorca, the quietest island of the Balearic Islands, is synonymous with home and inspiration for Naguisa. Home because it houses our shop and inspiration because for almost a decade it has encouraged us to take shape, it has given us a reason for being and has christened, year after year, models and collections. Its virgin beaches, typical buildings and places full of charm have been part of the portraits of Agraría, Cuerda and Origen, and today we collect some of these wonderful places and show them to you in the form of a small guide.

Picking wild flowers in the countryside changes the way we experience this natural space. During the search, nature folds itself into a varied palette of colours, shapes, textures... motifs with which we sketch, in our imagination, our future bouquet as we walk. The walk becomes something similar to entering an impressionist painting.

New book in our Reading Club. After enjoying Irene Solà's bucolic stories, this month we suggest you dive into 'Everything I Need Already Exists in Me'. An intimate book that addresses violence, feminism, trauma, loss and self-love through the emotion-filled poems of Rupi Kaur.

Monday is International Women's Day. A day to celebrate the path we are moving forward and to emphasise that no one can stop us on this journey. Our values ​​include giving a voice to brave, intrepid and strong women, and sharing their stories with all of you; those that show that courage is worth it. Today we wanted to open the doors and introduce ourselves, a team made up almost entirely of women. Claudia, Sofía, Greta, Sara, Graciela and Yolanda. Entrepreneurial, empowered, energetic and tenacious women who give life to Naguisa.

The roots, the mountainous context and the rural environment serve as a stage to capture, through an almost musical narrative, a magical story, full of beauty (but also bitterness), in which you want to stay and live. A book that you will never want to end and from which emerges a great love for everything that is born, grows and is part of Nature.
