Our collaboration with the writer María Sánchez has been an enriching adventure from the first moment we came across her collection of poems "Cuaderno de Campo". With "Tierra de Mujeres", we fell in love with her pen and are grateful for her vision of the rural world. That book appeared in our hands just when we were presenting the collection " La Cabaña ", our first winter collection, and we felt that this work arrived at the most appropriate time.

Over the years, we have shared many experiences and projects, and each of them has been an opportunity to get to know each other better and strengthen our bond.
Last year, María wrote to us with some exciting news: she was starting filming for "De lo Urbano y lo Rural", a series for Caixaforum+ in which she and fellow writer Miqui Otero embarked on a journey across the peninsula. The idea was to see first-hand the places and stories that have been recorded in the most brilliant pages of our literature, and María wanted to do so accompanied by Naguisa.

With our eyes closed, we happily accepted and embarked with María on a journey that was a unique opportunity to delve into the essence of our territories, those that so inspire Naguisa's collections. We walked along the sidewalks and the borders, the centers and the margins, the airports and the squares, and we discovered the best of the urban and the rural, together with some of our favorite writers: Bernardo Atxaga, Elisa Victoria, Marta Sanz, Elena Medel, Olga Novo or Santiago Lorenzo. We were sure that this would be a trip full of surprises, learning and unforgettable moments, and so it was!

We feel very fortunate to have been able to be part of this adventure and that María counted on Naguisa for such a special project. We could say that this trip is the result of a friendship that has grown over time and that we hope will continue along many more paths.
For Naguisa, María is an example of how passion and commitment to a cause can make a big difference. Her work as a veterinarian and her talent as a writer complement each other perfectly to create a complete and moving vision of the rural world and of women as its driving force. We hope that her work continues to inspire many more people and that it continues to raise our gaze towards such a special and valuable world.
We recommend you don't miss this 11-episode series.
