SUEDE CARE TUTORIAL

MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE CARE OF SUEDE

In the hectic comings and goings of our days, it is easy to forget the care that our faithful companions deserve: shoes. Especially those made of suede leather, which have accompanied us on so many adventures and special moments. Perhaps, after a winter in storage or after continued use, you discover that your beloved Naguisa espadrilles or ankle boots need a little pampering to look impeccable again. Or perhaps, with the change of season and the desire to renew your summer wardrobe, you wonder how to bring them back to life and ensure that they are ready for the new experiences that are to come. Don't worry, here we bring you 2 simple steps to take care of your suede leather shoes, sandals and espadrilles, ensuring that they stay as good as new and accompany you for many more seasons.

1. Gentle cleaning with microfiber cloth

The first step is as simple as it is effective. Take a microfibre cloth, preferably one that doesn't shed lint, and slightly dampen it. With it, gently rub over the stained or scuffed areas of your shoes . This method is ideal for treating light stains and giving the suede surface a first once-over.

2. Use crepe or eraser for difficult stains.

For those more persistent stains or if you find that a damp cloth is not enough, we recommend using a piece of crepe rubber. This special rubber is designed to remove residue without damaging the delicate suede leather. If you don't have crepe, a regular eraser can also do the job. Remember, the key is to rub gently so as not to damage the material! Don't forget to let your Naguisa dry at room temperature after any treatment.

With these simple steps, your Naguisa shoes, boots or espadrilles will remain in perfect condition . At Naguisa, we design each pair thinking not only about its style and comfort, but also about its durability. We want your Naguisa to be your traveling companions for many seasons, so we make it very easy for you to extend its useful life.
