Naguisa x You:baeg

The fashion industry is making small strides in sustainability and many brands and designers have already begun to explore new ways to be more environmentally conscious.
One of them is Ti:baeg , a Korean fashion brand, founded by designer Eunae Cho, who has focused her philosophy on environmental sustainability .
Last October, Naguisa collaborated with this brand in the presentation of its Please Save My Earth - Spring Summer 2019 collection, within the framework of Seoul Fashion Week .
The emerging brand opened its show with a moving scene featuring a female silhouette dressed in white against a background of a seascape. After a few seconds of silence, the model began to perform a contemporary dance inspired by a manga story. This brief and delicate introduction was the start of an evocative show.

With a collection inspired by nature, Ti:baeg presented austere but delicate designs, in keeping with the brand's philosophy. The fabrics used to make the designs are mainly recycled polyester with printed graphic designs referencing nature.
Supporting this discourse, the catwalk was filled with raffia bags filled with plants, spreading the optimistic tone and thus spreading the message of environmental conservation.
Naguisa was present in all the looks, with a reinterpretation of the already classic jute models Thalis , Soc , Jonca and Silencio , on a platform sole. Thus claiming the use of natural materials and craftsmanship in the designs .
With this collaboration, Naguisa's closeness to the Korean public is consolidated. A relationship that has been strengthening for several years thanks to the support of the distributor Roundabout .
