MRLASPIUR x NAGUISA

Splash! We close our eyes and we are inside Dizzy Summer. It's sunny, it smells of salt, we have some sand stuck to our bodies and we wear colorful clothes and accessories that, together with that carefree feeling and the happiness of being near the sea, make us radiate light.

That's the image that comes to mind every time we think about the collection of earrings and belts that Maria R. Laspiur has designed for PEZ SS22. Collection available from March 16.

MRLASPIUR is formed by Maria R. Laspiur and Jaime A. Limousin, a creative couple who for several years have embarked on the adventure of materializing María's colorful plastic work into jewelry.

For this collaboration, Maria R. Laspiur has left her usual imaginary botany behind to delve into the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean, from which colorful designs emerge inspired by the vibrant and fun marine world symbolized by PEZ.

As another Naguisa design, both the buckles of the FLOTADOR and CONCHA belts and the OSTRA, PEZ and FLOTADOR earrings are handcrafted in Maria's workshop in San Sebastián (Donostia), taking great care of every detail of the process.

With comfort and sustainability in mind, this capsule collection has been manufactured using 3D printing and the use of a bioplastic material called PLA, which provides lightness to the piece and turns it into an everyday accessory.

Organic PLA filaments are produced from natural and renewable raw materials, such as corn. In addition, it is biodegradable, always comes from sustainably produced crops and does not emit toxic emissions.
