GUIDE TO MENORCA

Menorca, the quietest island of the Balearic Islands, is synonymous with home and inspiration for Naguisa. Home because it houses our store and inspiration because for almost a decade it has encouraged us to take shape, it has given us a reason for being and has christened, year after year, models and collections.
Its unspoiled beaches, typical buildings and charming places have been part of the portraits of Agraría, Cuerda and Origen, and today we collect some of these wonderful places and show them to you in the form of a small guide.

A bit of history

Menorca was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993. Its coastline, dotted with fortified villages, offers us unique places such as La Mola, a fortress built between 1848 and 1875 to protect the entrance to the port of Mahón. Today, the fortress hosts cultural and artistic activities.
Another magical space is Las Canteras de s'Hostal de Lithica, a large labyrinthine garden that guides the visitor between the tradition of the stonemason and the monumentality of modern spaces.

A dip

Surrounded by coves with crystal-clear waters and natural pools, this island has no shortage of heavenly places to relax and take a dip. Our favourites are Es Murtar, near Mahón, the black sand beaches in the north or the natural pools of Marés.

Taste its gastronomy

If you set foot on this island, it is almost obligatory to visit the municipal market of Ciutadella, also known as the Mercat des Peix. Located in one of the most representative squares, we recommend that you go there to immerse yourself in the local routine and customs among the freshest products on the island.

Where to find us

If you don't want to leave Menorca without your Naguisa, we invite you to take a walk to Carrer de Nostra Senyora dels Dolors, in Ciutadella.
A few years ago we opened a shop in the heart of the city where you can find, in addition to our espadrilles and sandals, clothing and accessories from related brands. This year, these brands include: Bobo Choses, Robin, Mandra, I feel nut, Sömmer and Ivori.

June Schedule: Monday - Saturday 10am to 2pm

If you are thinking of visiting the island, we recommend that you consult the Apunt Menorca website to organize your route and not miss any of its unique locations.
