I Hate Monday

Hong Jung Mi hated going back to work on Monday after a few days full of fun. She ignored thinking about everything that lay ahead when the alarm clock rang and avoided chatting about how short the weekend had been with her office colleagues. A boredom that she channeled into creativity, creating a collection of colorful socks that she named after the spark that had ignited that project: I Hate Monday. If returning to work and facing the long faces of her colleagues at the beginning of the week was devastating for her, dyeing the offices of Seoul with color with her patterned socks had become her life motivation. This is how this seed took shape in various vending machines in the Sinsa-dong commercial district, in South Korea, and gained fans thanks to its originality. Today it has become a successful brand that has its own store, where in addition to colorful socks, there is also a lot of coffee. An ode to those unpleasant Mondays. After Naguisa landed on the South Korean peninsula, Roundabout brought us closer to Hong Jung Mi's project with which we started a collaboration through VALL, this winter's capsule collection. Now we are inaugurating a new chapter on our website with I Hate Monday: a series of collaborations with which we will bring you unique proposals that are very similar to Naguisa. To celebrate this union, and so that you can also start Monday with a new look, be one of the first five to get your Naguisa today and get a pair of I Hate Monday socks as a gift.
