A PIECE OF OUR HISTORY

Welcome to our studio. Nothing here is what it seems, starting with me! Although you always see me standing here, opening the door for you, receiving packages and saying good afternoon when you leave happy with your box in your hands, I am a great traveler.

I met Pablo and Claudia in 2012 at an espadrille factory. The owners, a lovely couple, introduced us and we became inseparable from that moment. When they explained the idea of ​​Naguisa to me, I got in the car with them and we came to Barcelona loaded with ideas (and jute). From there, my intrepid story began, travelling around Europe from fair to fair and showing the essence of Naguisa to people from the 7 continents.

Now that the years are making me change colour, I have decided to stay here quietly and help them out on a daily basis. Help Sara advise our clients, Montse prepare orders, Greta support the stores, Pablo with suppliers, Lourdes with paperwork, Alba find new points of sale and serve as inspiration for Claudia and Sofia with the new collections. Sometimes Yolanda comes to the studio and takes photos of me and I tell her stories about my travels, to see if she ever gets inspired and features me in the newsletter ;)

This year, Claudia thought there was no better way to celebrate this beautiful team than by making something to give to you, in which we could all participate, including me. So I put my braids at the disposal and together we have shaped a little piece of our history.

Something made by us, where we have put all our enthusiasm and love, and that we want to share with all of you who have supported us along this path. Because Naguisa is this studio, but it is also all of you women who have been wearing our jute sandals and espadrilles for 8 years, the small businesses that have been supporting us since our origins, the showrooms that make our work known and each of the people who are behind the production process and who bring our designs to life. Thank you all!
