Together with Carola Alexandre and her store Ivori, we have traced a history of joint learning, friendship and new goals. In 2012 Carola raised the shutters of her cozy store in the Barcelona neighborhood of Born. Among garments designed by her and others from local brands, our first collection of shoes appeared.

Visits to this city always seem too short. Even if we plan ahead for the millions of places we want to go, time always gets shorter and new discoveries multiply. Madrid is almost a universe within a universe. It may be full of monuments and full of history, but somehow, it continues to evolve with time. This city offers contemporaneity while preserving its classics.

We are fluid, we are flexible. We like to be part of a possible change, and we are passionate about trying to change things to transform them into better things.

With a view to the new year and all the goals we have set ourselves to achieve, on this occasion we propose a reading born from optimism for a better world. SEMILLAS is a book created and self-produced by Cristina Camarena and Vanesa Freixa, where both of them present the bases of various solutions to make tomorrow a better world.

This weekend we travel to Brooklyn, New York to meet Mandy and her store Kordal Studio. In 2012, Mandy decided to launch her own company with a mission: to create quality, responsibly made garments that exemplify the possibilities of sustainable design. Kordal is much more than a brand or a store, they are collections designed and produced ethically through timeless garment design and using natural, organic and recycled textiles.

With your support, little by little, we have been weaving a braid of friendship, security and naturalness that has been going on for almost 10 years. Like any self-respecting family, we did not want to miss the opportunity to, one more year, give you a piece of Naguisa for Christmas.

Henar is the owner of 'Henar Polo', a shop located in the centre of Salamanca. From the beginning, we decided that honesty would be our banner. We set out to make visible the delicate work that shoe artisans had been carrying out for years throughout our peninsula. From cutting a sole to braiding a leather, behind each of these meticulous works there are generations of shoe artisans carefully carrying out a task that deserves to be known and respected.

When the season of swimming and espadrilles passes, we quickly feel the urge to wear a trench coat and Chelsea boots. However, this change of season brings with it a certain melancholy when the first clouds begin to appear and the days become shorter. It is at that moment, before the leaves take on an orange glow and crunch under our feet clad in the new chunky boots, that we arm ourselves with a blanket or a tablecloth and head out into the street in search of the enjoyment of these days of transition.

The Sierra de Tramontana, in Soller, Mallorca, was the place that baptized and inspired our latest collection. A location with character and strength, which was the backdrop to illustrate each shoe that makes up the collection.

The days are getting darker and darker. There are probably only four hours of daylight during the deep winter.

Music, vermouth, raffles and lots and lots of shoes. On May 18th, at Naguisa we inaugurated the season of wearing espadrilles, braided shoes, tubular shoes and canvas shoes with a Market in our studio-workshop in Sant Just Desvern.

There is no need to travel to remote places to find peace, crystal-clear waters and a dreamlike climate; our beloved Menorca has all this and much more.

One of our greatest satisfactions is teaching other people the craft of pattern making and shoe manufacturing, and in particular that of hand-stitched espadrilles.

The 7. A sacred number that represents the faith to achieve our desires. SOC, SILENCIO, BEMOL and FUSA were born 7 years ago. They are the fruit of our desire, you are the result of our faith.

We love Menorca. And who wouldn't? Based on this hunch, one day we decided that NAGUISA couldn't be missing from the Island. Every summer, for many years now, Menorca for us is synonymous with pleasure, rest, delight, freshness, life.

Alejandra Perelló has a deep and unwavering connection with art, nature and Japanese culture. Concepts that have guided her throughout her life and career, working on a sustainable clothing and accessories brand whose main goal is to preserve and protect the oceans and the environment. “I think photography is a lovely way to talk to people about a moment in my life or about an emotion,” explains Alejandra.

UGA is one of our most iconic braided leather models. The process of creating this type of shoe requires technique and patience.

Menorca, the quietest island of the Balearic Islands, is synonymous with home and inspiration for Naguisa. Home because it houses our shop and inspiration because for almost a decade it has encouraged us to take shape, it has given us a reason for being and has christened, year after year, models and collections. Its virgin beaches, typical buildings and places full of charm have been part of the portraits of Agraría, Cuerda and Origen, and today we collect some of these wonderful places and show them to you in the form of a small guide.

In 2016, Englantine decided to open a store that would promote ethical and sustainable fashion brands, footwear based on craftsmanship and cosmetics with organic and cruelty-free formulations. Giulia Tibaldi, together with her partner Giordano Garosio, forms the creative duo @GiulieGiordi. Through their bucolic Instagram account they narrate their family life and their caravan trips through wonderful places. From her home in Brescia (Italy), Giulia explains to us where her project was born and how she combines it with her four beautiful children: Agnese, Timo, Frida and Arturo.

Picking wild flowers in the countryside changes the way we experience this natural space. During the search, nature folds itself into a varied palette of colours, shapes, textures... motifs with which we sketch, in our imagination, our future bouquet as we walk. The walk becomes something similar to entering an impressionist painting.
