It is difficult to define the work of product designer Júlia Esqué precisely, and perhaps that is why we like her so much. From her studio in Barcelona, ​​Júlia brings to life designs that challenge preconceived forms and push the boundaries of the materials used. Good examples are the knives that explore ergonomics for The Table Knife Project, the Hortensia armchair produced by Moooi or the glasses designed for FAD Barcelona. Her designs close the circle between the functional and the conceptual, and remind us of all the beauty that can emerge from reading between the lines.

From the beginning, we decided that honesty would be our banner. We set out to make visible the delicate work that shoe artisans had been carrying out for years throughout our peninsula. From cutting a sole to braiding a leather, behind each of these meticulous works there are generations of shoe artisans carefully carrying out a task that deserves to be known and respected.

When the season of swimming and espadrilles passes, we quickly feel the urge to wear a trench coat and Chelsea boots. However, this change of season brings with it a certain melancholy when the first clouds begin to appear and the days become shorter. It is at that moment, before the leaves take on an orange glow and crunch under our feet clad in the new chunky boots, that we arm ourselves with a blanket or a tablecloth and head out into the street in search of the enjoyment of these days of transition.

The Sierra de Tramontana, in Soller, Mallorca, was the place that baptized and inspired our latest collection. A location with character and strength, which was the backdrop to illustrate each shoe that makes up the collection.

Music, vermouth, raffles and lots and lots of shoes. On May 18th, at Naguisa we inaugurated the season of wearing espadrilles, braided shoes, tubular shoes and canvas shoes with a Market in our studio-workshop in Sant Just Desvern.

Lorena Fernández is a woman of magnetism. In light of her popular Instagram account, @nasualua, she has remained incredibly authentic, avoiding the obvious obstacles of being a social media reference for many people. “Instagram and also my blog allowed me to change the course of my professional career, travel to wonderful places and, best of all, meet incredible people who are now good friends,” explains Lorena.

There is no need to travel to remote places to find peace, crystal-clear waters and a dreamlike climate; our beloved Menorca has all this and much more.

One of our greatest satisfactions is teaching other people the craft of pattern making and shoe manufacturing, and in particular that of hand-stitched espadrilles.

Alejandra Perelló has a deep and unwavering connection with art, nature and Japanese culture. Concepts that have guided her throughout her life and career, working on a sustainable clothing and accessories brand whose main goal is to preserve and protect the oceans and the environment. “I think photography is a lovely way to talk to people about a moment in my life or about an emotion,” explains Alejandra.

This weekend we travel to Nantes to introduce you to Eglantine and her Les Trésors Partagés store. In 2016, Englantine decided to open a store that would promote ethical and sustainable fashion brands, footwear based on craftsmanship and cosmetics with organic and cruelty-free formulations. Giulia Tibaldi, together with her partner Giordano Garosio, forms the creative duo @GiulieGiordi. Through their bucolic Instagram account they narrate their family life and their caravan trips through wonderful places. From her home in Brescia (Italy), Giulia explains to us where her project was born and how she combines it with her four beautiful children: Agnese, Timo, Frida and Arturo.

Picking wild flowers in the countryside changes the way we experience this natural space. Chih-Hung Kuo resides in the mountains, among the deep valleys where we also came to imagine and begin to bring to life our VALL Capsule Collection.

Xiana and Claudia are two women dedicated to creative work. Xiana is the designer and illustrator behind her eponymous project and Claudia is the creative director of Naguisa. Both have been mothers for several years now and combine their efforts in developing their own brands with the vitality of their work as mothers.

This limited edition was born from the admiration for Xiana Cobo's work. The delicacy of her embroidery and prints, following artisanal techniques, opened the door to this collaboration that we believe is perfect for giving as a gift or for yourself. Following the idea of ​​sharing joys, emotions and also accessories between mothers and daughters, Xiana designed for us a printed cotton scarf and DOM espadrilles, using the ancestral technique of block printing.

Mariló (@oliram12) and Jana (@masmeriendas) form La Mesa, a project through which they tell stories about family, friendship and love through cooking and desserts. Today they are dusting off a box full of memories and nostalgia in search of a sweet recipe. A dessert that will transport us back to our childhood, to those days of celebration, to those Sundays of celebration or to one of those special days when ending up with a face full of chocolate was synonymous with spontaneity and ingenuity.

Her nostalgic approach to the world of fashion is gaining more and more followers every day: creating beautiful swimsuits with classic patterns that proclaim an ode to comfort and durability, as well as promoting craftsmanship and inviting us to immerse ourselves in continuous learning.

We are launching our 'Shop Stories' with Marta, the wonderful woman behind the ämmä project. Ämmä is a fantastic store in the old town of Bilbao, which was also one of the first to bet on Naguisa. From then until now, Marta has become a special person for us, a friend and a reference. Today she opens all the doors of her store to us.

Last April, we challenged our friends Xènia and Imma from Rita Row on Instagram to design a braided shoe for the new ORIGEN SS21 collection. From that camaraderie in times of uncertainty, RITA was born, a braided leather design, which is the result of the affection and admiration that both brands have been processing for years.
