And now it's the turn of Oxford shoes, which have been making a comeback since the 2000s, marking the beginning of a relaxed elegance that slips into everyday looks without making a fuss, but leaving a lasting impression.

Between the technical and the feminine. If anything defines us at Naguisa, it's comfort. A comfort that knows no seasons or trends, but knows how to adapt to them. LEONORA was born in our workshop, in that dreamy pursuit of total comfort. A design that stems from the desire to pause, to step firmly yet gently, to let the body find its place so the mind can travel.

Sometimes, all you have to do is open the drawers in the workshop to discover a universe of memories. This season, at Naguisa, we came across some leathers that were part of our past collections: a forest green that smells of the countryside, a deep blue like summer nights, a sparkling lime that brings smiles, and a natural that never goes out of style.

The creative process of La Payesa began long before the first sketch took shape. You've probably already noticed that once again, flat shoes are the undisputed trend for autumn. We're not alone in this observation; social media and fashion magazines are full of looks that present them as the new essential. Flat shoes have gone from being a practical choice to becoming the key element of the trendiest outfits.

After more than a decade dedicated to footwear, this year we have launched our first capsule collection of clothing. Naguisa Life includes 3 pieces: The ASTA shirt, the SUSE dress and the LOTTE jumpsuit. These are simple and contemporary designs destined to remain relevant and useful over the years.

Sukha, which in Hindu tradition means tranquility, happiness, pleasure and well-being, is the name we have chosen for this new model. These espadrilles are not just another pair of shoes, they are a true declaration of intentions: seeking happiness in every step, comfort in every movement and well-being in every day.

Last year, Naguisa celebrated its 10th anniversary in a special way. To commemorate this significant occasion, we decided to organize a shoe competition open to everyone. Among all the participants, Benita's design, created by Ana Lubiano, emerged as the winner. Benita perfectly combined craftsmanship and innovation, two fundamental values ​​that have represented Naguisa over the last 10 years. On a jute sole, a modern espadrille silhouette rose.

In 2022, we set in motion a new chapter in the Naguisa journey: we launched BAMBA, our first all-round sneaker. But we didn’t want to create just any old sneaker. We were determined to design something that was truly Naguisa at its core; a design that reflected our philosophy and carried with it details that identified it with our beloved classics.

Imagine a world where peace and harmony are the norm, where nature flourishes in all its splendour and human beings live together in a constant state of happiness and tranquillity. This world may seem like a utopia, but through the design of our capsule embroidery collection, we want to transport you to that place and share with you the beauty and serenity that inspired us for the SS23 Olivia collection.

A sea of ​​olive trees stretching to the horizon in every direction. Their thick, gnarled branches bear witness to work and tradition, to loyalty and effort. Here OLIVIA is the heroine, whose seed covers everything with hope, peace and harmony. She runs through the fields, swings from branches, climbs rocks and lets her hair tangle in the breeze. OLIVIA is joyful and expansive, and her only goal is the search for happiness.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and as one of our goals for this new 2023, at Naguisa we have decided to give a new opportunity to some of our most precious materials. We have selected and recovered remnants of top-quality leather from other collections and have given them a new life in a limited and special edition of our CALEUM model, one of your favorites this season.

Summer isn't over for a few weeks, but the calendar is already marking the date for returning to routine. While the feeling of carefreeness fades, we still remember the cobbled streets, the explosion of colours at any market stall and the smell of the sea.

The end of summer, and with it the sporadic days between seasons, are divided between people who miss having an iced coffee and those who long to wear a jersey again. This duality, also present within the Naguisa team itself, led us to think about developing a timeless shoe, a basic sneaker that could be used during all seasons and anywhere. This is BAMBA, an all-terrain sports shoe.

That afternoon the sun was shining visibly. The task was pressing in every corner of our studio in San Just Desvern. The doorbell rang. Its energetic “hello!” powerfully caught my attention.
