Hardships can make us better people. More creative, more empathetic, more honest, more caring... In essence, more human.
These days we are all trying to do what is in our hands from our living rooms; doing our bit in this unprecedented crisis by reaching out to our elderly neighbors, shopping in local stores so they won't disappear, sharing useful contents with friends, writing anonymous letters to the patients in the ICU and even sewing masks from home.
Each of us is getting creative finding ways to help, be that protecting risk groups or supporting some initiative. Naguisa wants to contribute too by joining the #YoMeCorono initiative: a campaign promoted by the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital from Badalona along with the Fight AIDS Foundation and the Irscaix Foundation raising funds to develop a vaccine against COVID-19 and aiming to curb the transmission of the virus with medicines and antibodies.
This initiative is the first medical trial approved by the Spanish Medicine Agency hoping to find out which medicines can cure infected people immediately while preventing the infection among close contacts.
Naguisa will donate 5% of all orders placed until April 13 to this charity project with the aim to contribute with the quick eradication of the pandemic.
