A SHORT GETAWAY IN MENORCA

We always talk about Menorca as our second home. For us, the island is a place of development, calm and connection with nature. It’s also a place full of childhood memories, love stories, and moments we will never forget.

As the biggest fans of this beautiful island, we want to share with you some of the most special places it has to offer. Take note! Some recommendations even include a bit of the history of our founders.

First stop: recharge yourself

Whether you come by sea or air, we're sure you'll arrive hungry. So we suggest you choose a terrace with a beautiful view, take a seat and relax while the breeze welcomes you. In the meantime, take the opportunity to plan an itinerary through the island’s paradisical coves and savor some toast with Maón cheese or sobrasada. We recommend that you gather enough strength to set off on all the beautiful strolls you’ll take throughout this paradise :)

Our first stop is always Fornells. Wandering through its streets reminds us of our most beautiful moments: Claudia's childhood with her family, Claudia and Pablo's wedding in the ruins of the Castle of San Antonio, or the summers spent with little Lola and Olivia.

A quick dip

After visiting the village, it's time to take the car (or motorbike) and go in search of a place for a quick dip. Cavalleria beach is the first spot on our list. Its crystalline waters, its fine reddish sands, its quiet and shallow coves, and the absence of cover make it the perfect destination for a morning of rest, relaxation and disconnection.

Lunch in Ciutadella

We encourage you to wander around the city, and if by midday you haven't caved for one of the restaurants that offer Caldereta, we recommend an even better option. Rels is one of our favorite spots to savor Balearic cuisine. And what's more, its hidden terrace will make you feel like one of the locals for a moment.

Just a stone’s throw from Reels, you will find the Naguisa store, a space that you will surely recognize from our newsletters and photos on social media. In addition to espadrilles and sandals, here you can find clothes and accessories from other brands with which we share the same values. We invite you to come in and say hello to Francisca and Lorena!

Time for souvenirs

You'll remember many things from this trip, but it's always a good idea to take something back with you so you can relish the experience for even longer. Although its beaches will remain in your memory forever, our recommendation is that before returning home, take a stroll around the city, visit its market, treat yourself to some sweets, and pick up some tasty souvenirs such as an ensaimada and a bottle of Xoriguer, so that your trip back home will be a little less difficult.

Before saying goodbye

It's time to say goodbye, but not before one last swim! There's perhaps nothing more idyllic than swimming at sunset on a secluded beach. We recommend driving a little further away to Cala Turqueta or Platja de Binicodrell to enjoy one last dip in paradise.

It's time to go back home, but we're sure that tomorrow while you're having your ensaimada for breakfast, you'll start looking at your calendar and planning a new getaway to Menorca. We'll be patiently waiting for you here!
