GETAWAY TO SEVILLA

They say that spring is the perfect season to visit Seville, and we couldn't agree more. This season, we decided to take a stroll through the magical Andalusian city. Because what better way to enjoy its charms, than walking its streets, breathing the scent of orange blossom and delighting ourselves with the vitality that spring brings to Seville?

So, put on your Naguisa and prepare your senses! We are about to enter a Seville that is a constant dialogue between the classic and the contemporary, in a 24-hour adventure that will make you surrender to its charms.

PLAZA DE LA ENCARNACIÓN, SEVILLA

Just arrived in the city, we start our route in the Plaza de la Encarnación. There, we began our tour, ready to discover all that Seville has in store for us. In that same square, just looking up, you will find the famous Setas de la Encarnación, a perfect place to appreciate the amalgam of architectural styles that are deployed throughout the city.

After soaking in this perspective, we decided to enter the fascinating labyrinth that is the old town of Seville. There we came across a myriad of hidden treasures, such as the precious stores and ateliers that populate the area. Among them, Isadora stands out, a store full of charm, run by Lorena and Manuel on Don Alonso el Sabio street. Their carefully selected garments are a delight for any lover of design. Nearby we also find Tenderete, a craft store with wonderful objects.

But it was not only the stores that caught our attention, we were also captivated by the various art galleries that are hidden in this network of narrow streets. These spaces, with creative proposals that overflow with talent and innovation, are a true reflection of Seville's vibrant art scene.

BOOK STORE AND COFFEE SHOP 'UN GATO EN BICICLETA'

After enjoying a delicious mollete at Un Gato en Bicicleta we set out to continue our tour. With renewed energy, we started our ride towards the Alameda de Hércules, one of the most lively and emblematic areas of Seville.

On our way, we come across places that seem to be taken from a postcard, such as the Palacio de Dueñas or the Church of San Juan de la Palma, whose imposing facade is a reminder of the deep faith and devotion of the city.

Continuing along Feria Street, famous for its traditional antique market, we went even deeper into the essence of Seville. It was then that we came across another small nucleus of modernity that breaks with tradition, but without losing the essence of the city: the Orangerie floral atelier.

As time progressed, we understood that the true beauty of Seville lies not only in its monuments, but in its people, its folklore, its flavor and its unique way of enjoying life.

When it was time for vermouth, we could not resist the temptation to immerse ourselves in the authentic local life as just another parishioner of the Casa Vizcaíno.

LA GIRALDA FROM EL REAL ALCÁZAR DE SEVILLA

HOTEL PLÁCIDO Y GRATA TERRACE

As the afternoon progressed, we decided to head to the charming neighborhood of Santa Cruz. This neighborhood, one of the most emblematic of Seville, is famous for its narrow streets, flowery courtyards and hidden squares, where time seems to have stood still.

As good tourists, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to step on the Real Alcazar of Seville and once inside, we could not avoid the excitement of contemplating the majesty of the Giralda.

To culminate our route through Seville, we headed directly to the terrace of the Hotel Plácido y Grata. This refuge in the heart of the city offers an unparalleled space for relaxation, with a Nordic style that contrasts harmoniously with the vibrant atmosphere of Seville.

So much for our adventure in this beautiful city. We hope you liked it as much as we did, see you next time!
