This is not the first time that our path and María's have come together. In 2020, when we were all thinking about what we would do when the terrible lockdown was over, Naguisa and MON (María's brand) collaborated by giving away a small case with our shoes.

Since then, we have followed each other on social media, exchanging messages and heart-shaped greetings. Today we want to share her story and how our sandals and espadrilles have accompanied her in special moments of her life.

How did you find out about Naguisa and what was your first impression of the brand?

I met Naguisa in 2017 and fell in love with the brand. It was the first year that I bought my first pair of sandals, and since then I haven't stopped buying collection after collection. I couldn't do it for just one year because I had surgery on both feet and couldn't wear shoes for almost a year. My first pair was a pair of pink espadrilles with a pompom, I still remember them, they were amazing! I used them so much that I had to say goodbye to them this January, I was sad to part with them.

Do you identify with Naguisa's values?

Yes, very much! Naguisa is not only a brand made in Spain , but it is also a symbol of quality and timelessness. It is true that every year you follow the trends, especially in color palettes, but you have never lost the values ​​and philosophy of the brand. In fact, I would dare to say that over the years the quality is even better than when you started. You have grown a lot and you continue to focus on quality. I am one of those who focuses on quality and not quantity. I like to have clothes that last over time, and the same thing happens to me with footwear. Naguisa has become a classic in my wardrobe , they are also very comfortable and with my operated feet, that is much appreciated!

What makes you continue buying Naguisa shoes after all this time?

The quality and comfort never go out of style. I had a pair of shoes for almost 7 years and they were still there, a little worn from use but no tears, no unstitching, nothing.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Naguisa's winter collection?

My first pair that I had, has been an icon for me, many friends also have them because for me they are beautiful and elegant. Whenever you wear Naguisas you look elegant. The model was GER.

Do you remember any special moment when your Naguisa accompanied you?

Yes, I remember many, but there is one in particular. One day I had an important and beautiful event and I think that few people looked me in the eyes, they only looked at the sandals I was wearing: it was the SABINA model.

What is your favorite model?

My favorites are: Paix , in ecru, Marga multi-gray and the simple Thalis espadrille in black.

How do you like to wear your Naguisa?

I love wearing winter socks with jeans and pairing them with Bonne Maison socks, which have become a classic for me. I also love wearing the LLAR model at home—they're super comfortable and so pretty! Sometimes I want to go out in them... (laughs)

I wear sandals with dresses, with skirts, with summer pants, with everything. I don't use any other brand of sandals other than Naguisa. The truth is that your brand has taken over my wardrobe in every way.

Have you shared your love for Naguisa shoes with your friends or family?

Yes, with all of them! Even my doctor and my former ballet teacher, because they wanted to find a brand that was elegant, beautiful, and comfortable at the same time, so I recommend them whenever I can. Especially with my feet, which haven't exactly turned out pretty after surgery. Naguisa hides all my scars and, above all, keeps me from suffering pain.
