We are proud to introduce you to Davinia , the second of the Your Stories interview participants. Since 2018, Davinia has been by our side, supporting and promoting the craftsmanship that we love and represent so much. Together with her partner, she also shares the gastronomy and travel blog ( The dining guide ), where they explore and share their culinary experiences and adventures around the world.

In this interview, Davinia shares her own experience, showing how the connection with our sandals and espadrilles can transcend beyond a simple choice of footwear. Discover how her Naguisas have become inseparable companions on her journey.

How did you find out about Naguisa and what was your first impression of the brand?

I met her when you did a collaboration with Maria Yelletisch, I would say it was 2018, you released several models, and I bought my first Naguisa. The Soc Rothko. (red and pink combination)

What does Naguisa mean to you beyond the shoes?

Naguisa is craftsmanship, it is pampering and being respectful with the product. It is Mediterranean and the essence. I like that their designs are not a passing or temporary fashion, but rather they are shoes for life.

Do you identify with the values ​​of the Naguisa brand?

Yes, yes! I like to invest in brands that respect the processes and continue to do things in an artisanal way , as well as local production. My summer shoe rack is full of brands such as Naguisa, Castañer, Malababa, Hereu, etc., which I usually combine with baskets from Hereu, Heimat, Toino Abel, etc.

What makes you continue buying Naguisa shoes after all this time?

They are timeless shoes, of very good quality, with designs that I identify with, comfortable, etc.

Do you remember any special moment when your Naguisa accompanied you?

I especially remember the first summer after the pandemic, lots of good times with different Naguisa models. And also a summer in Menorca, when I visited your store there, that store is special!

What is your favourite model? And from the new collection?

Of the ones I have, my “pretty girl” is the first model, the Soc Rothko, I have a special affection for it. I think that a very iconic summer model from Naguisa is the Soc , in all its variants. And from the new collection, I think the Hacana is very pretty, and also the models from the embroidery collection.

Have you shared your love for Naguisa shoes with your friends or family?

Yes, I tend to be very persistent when I like a brand and its values. For me, a pair of Naguisa shoes is like having a small piece of craftsmanship that I need to take care of so that it will last a long time.
