AN EVENING TO CELEBRATE THE MEDITERRANEAN
At Naguisa, the important moments almost always happen close to the Mediterranean. Perhaps because it’s where many of our ideas are born, or because we share with it a particular way of understanding time, gathering, and the beauty of everyday life.
On May 28, we presented La Lonja, our Spring–Summer 2026 collection, at IVORI, in Barcelona’s Born neighborhood. A collection inspired by the sea and by all those small gestures that are part of Mediterranean life: the ropes that secure boats to the harbor, the feeling of salt on sun-kissed skin, knots passed down through generations, light dancing on the water, and the slow rhythm of ports at the end of the day.
To celebrate, we gathered with friends, collaborators, brand enthusiasts, and members of the Naguisa community. We raised a glass of vermouth and shared a distinctly Mediterranean aperitivo of mussels, scallops, and potato chips. Simple, familiar flavors deeply rooted in the culture that inspired this new collection.
More than presenting a collection of espadrilles and woven sandals, we wanted to share a story. The story of a landscape that has been with us since the beginning and remains an endless source of inspiration. A landscape of harbors and fish markets, of ropes weathered by sun and sea salt, of summers that seem to stretch on forever, and of small rituals repeated by the sea generation after generation.
That’s why it was so special to see the collection come to life through conversations, laughter, reunions, and first fittings in front of the mirror. To see many of you arrive wearingsandals from past collections, to hear about your first encounter with Naguisa, or to discover that some of our designs have accompanied you through years of travels and memories.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate La Lonja. Thank you for being there, for raising a glass with us, for sharing the evening, and for making a presentation feel more like a gathering of friends than an event.
We’re still smiling.
