At Naguisa, we have always had a special affection for Seville, a love that is amplified by people like Lorena and Manuel and their store, Isadora. Since 2006, Lorena has imbued Isadora with her passionate spirit and her commitment to quality and careful production, transforming it into a space for true celebration of design.

In addition to her ability to select clothing and accessories from projects around the world , Lorena also has a keen eye for art. At Isadora, you can find colorful and captivating prints from local artists, each with its own story and charm. Today, Lorena opens the door to Isadora to tell us more about her wonderful project.

Who are Manuel and Lorena? How would you define yourselves?

Manuel and Lorena are the professional and romantic couple behind Isadora. Manuel comes from a world outside of fashion, but he always had a business vision and in this tandem he is also the public relations person. I, Lorena, was born and raised in Bizkaia. I like to surround myself with beauty and order. I am eclectic, I like contrasts, colour and prints but at the same time I am fascinated by classic cuts, straight and simple lines and neutral tones.

When did you open Isadora? Could you briefly tell us the history of the shop? What inspired you to take the step of setting up your own business?

We opened Isadora in 2006. I came to Seville after studying fashion design at IED Madrid with the idea of ​​opening a store with brands and accessories that were not available here. At that time there were very few designer stores and we thought we could bring something new and fresh to the city.

A moment you will always remember.

When we moved to the new location, 4 years ago, we were terrified of the change after 13 years in the old space, but now looking back it is the best thing we could have done, this space defines us much more and the reception was wonderful.

What do you think our philosophy brings to Isadora? And to your clients?

Naguisa's philosophy fits perfectly with ours. Offering this type of product is the best way to sell something that we love and identify with. Naguisa is quality in materials, craftsmanship, produced locally using manual processes, with an exceptional design , everything we want for our clients, and we know that they receive it this way. It is a brand that people fall in love with.

How would you define working with the Naguisa team? For you, what makes us different?

The Naguisa team is a group of friendly, kind and helpful women. For us, dealing with the people behind the brands is what makes a brand successful. A fantastic product is of no use to us if there are no people behind it with whom we can communicate.

Of our designs so far, which is your favorite?

It's hard to stick to just one model, so I'm going to choose two haha, one for summer, Lava , and one for winter, Monzón.
