GETAWAY TO BARCELONA

We often get distracted by the desire to explore faraway places, losing sight of the wonders that are all around us. We don't need to look far away to understand how lucky we are. We just need to open our eyes, put on our Naguisa and go out to observe what's around us.

Barcelona is our home. And just like any home, it is full of little things that comfort us and fill us with joy. This August, we want to share with you our favourite places in this little guide, which is both a love letter to Barcelona and an invitation to discover what it hides in plain sight.

We started with breakfast at Funky Bakers Bakery , a small bakery located on Passeig del Born. There, with a good coffee and some of their wonderful sweets, we gathered energy to start our route through the city. The second stop is Ivori (C/ dels Mirallers, 7) , very close to the bakery, where you will find Carola's shop. A very special shop for us, since it was one of the first to trust our espadrilles and sandals.

We continue our walk through the charming little streets of the centre, between Carrer del Doctor Dou, Carrer Xuclá and Carrer Notariat. We have always been captivated by its unique charm.

Entering through one of the main streets that lead to MACBA, Carrer d'Elisabets, we find Lotta , a beautiful store that has recently also placed its trust in our espadrilles and sandals. It is exciting to see how our creations find their place in these spaces full of style and personality.

The atmosphere of this area is simply magical, as Lotta is surrounded by other wonders that make every visit a unique experience. From the Miscelanea art gallery or the HEY design studio shop, to the delicious Pa de Kilo bakery, where the aromas of freshly baked bread seduce us with every step.

We continue our search for peace and greenery, moving on to the super Illa de Consell de Cent. In this new pedestrian space, we delight in the peace that is breathed, watching children learning to ride a bicycle, friends chatting animatedly on the benches that dot the road or beautiful shops and art galleries.

After a pleasant walk, we decided to make a quick stop at Los Tortillez to replenish our energy.

Continuing on our way, we arrive at Paseo de Grácia, an emblematic avenue that exudes style and elegance. It is here that we find Vaga Falena , a shoe store that is characterized by its commitment to original and daring brands, and if we continue walking we also find Sune by Sueños Negros , a multi-brand store that captivates us with its selection. In both you can find some Naguisa models , sharing the window with other brands that also focus on craftsmanship and creativity.

With one foot already in the Gracia neighborhood, we enter its charming streets and squares, delighting in the bohemian essence that characterizes it. The sun shines high above, and the temperatures are noticeable, so we decide to look for a cool and sweet snack that will help us cool down and cope with the heat.

Our search takes us to the emblematic Verdi street, where we find Morreig, an Italian ice cream shop that captivates us from the first glance. Its commitment to the different and the authentic is reflected in a selection of ice creams that is a true delight for the senses.

After the sugar rush that Morreig left us with, we are full of energy to continue exploring the charms of Gracia. Between curious shops like Mamita Botanical 's studio, warm bars and charming corners, we arrive at Bar La Camila, a place that has already become one of our favorites. Here, we find the perfect combination: good coffee and a cozy atmosphere.

And so, with a feeling of gratitude and fulfillment, we conclude our route through the city.
