TWELVE SUMMERS AND A RIBBON THAT JOINS THEM

At Naguisa, there are designs that define us. They become symbols of our understanding of tradition, craft, and beauty. SOC is one of those designs. Twelve summers ago, it was born in our studio with a clear idea: to reinterpret the ribbon espadrille from a contemporary perspective, without losing respect for the process and materials. Since then, SOC has walked with us season after season, gently transforming, maintaining its identity and adding new ways of being.

SOC has been constantly evolving, playing with materials, colors, and soles inspired by Mediterranean landscapes and relatable emotions. It has been acclaimed in collaborations with influencers and designers such as Carla Fuentes, Maria Yelletisch, and Xiana Cobo, and celebrated by fashion media. New versions of the original silhouette have emerged, such as the SOC RUNNER, with its sporty, urban style; the SOC TRAIL, with its lugged sole and adventurous spirit; and the light and poetic SUKHA, adorned this year with striped ribbons. Now comes VIRIDIS, a retro espadrille with a small heel that evokes nostalgia and elegance.

Each of these espadrilles has its own character. But they all share a gesture that has united us for twelve summers: that bow tied at the back like a ritual, like a promise that returns. It's our finishing touch. Our signature. A way of saying, without words, that these espadrilles are Naguisa.
