DIALOGUES WITH CAMILLE AND ISABELLE - BLUMENHAUS

We delve into the world of Camille Gressier and Isabelle Laydier Kristensen, founders of Blumenhaus Magazine, a magazine that fuses art, fashion and botany in a unique project. With a creative vision and passion for nature, they have managed to turn their love for botanicals into a publication carefully crafted to the last detail, where each issue is a timeless source of inspiration. Today, we are proud to discover their creative process and how Blumenhaus has managed to establish itself as a reference for lovers of beauty and natural art.

What inspired you to create Blumenhaus Magazine?

Blumenhaus was born out of a desire to create a collaborative project after years of working in graphic design, book publishing and illustration in Paris. Botany has always been a great passion for us, and the fusion with art, fashion and craftsmanship came naturally. Blumenhaus brings together all our inspirations and has given us the opportunity to collaborate with artists we have always admired.

How would you describe the design process of Blumenhaus?

We work closely on every detail. Our goal is to make each issue a collector's item, with a unique and special design. From antique prints to illustrations commissioned from artists we admire, each page reflects our vision and aesthetic care.

What do you hope readers will take away from each issue of Blumenhaus?

Each issue is intended as a portal to another world, an invitation to travel through time and cultures. We hope our readers find beauty, inspiration and a deeper connection with the nature that surrounds them.

If you had to define Blumenhaus in three words, what would they be?

Green, timeless and inspiring.
